“The Great American Race” is Sunday, and Kentucky has a fan favorite.
With the NASCAR Cup Series officially kicking off at 2:30 p.m. (FOX) at Daytona International Raceway, BetKentucky.com utilized Google Trends by searching “NASCAR” over the past 12 months (Feb. 7, 2023, to Feb. 7, 2024) to find the most searched NASCAR driver in search volume in that state. Any full-time or part-time NASCAR Cup Series driver was included. Here are the search favorites — not to be confused with the Kentucky sports betting favorites:
NASCAR Drivers With Most States
With Bet 365 Kentucky bonus code you can get +433 odds on Ryan Blaney to win the NASCAR season championship. Kyle Larson and William Byron are second on the odds list at +600.
Gragson a Favorite in Kentucky
Kentucky has found its NASCAR driver to root for (at least) by searches: Noah Gragson. The Las Vegas-native is returning to Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) for the 2024 campaign and will be driving the No. 10 Ford in a multi-year agreement announced late last year.
Gragson replaces veteran Aric Almirola, who announced in October he would leave SHR after six seasons.
The 25-year-old has started in 39 races in two partial seasons in the NASCAR Cup Series and has yet to win or finish in the top five or top 10. Last August, Gragson was suspended indefinitely due to social media violations. He was reinstated by NASCAR on Sept. 12.
ESPN BET Daytona 500 Odds
A check at ESPN BET Kentucky Monday has Gragson tied with John Hunter Nemechek as long shots at +5000 to win the Daytona 500 on Sunday.
Gragson is also tied with Nemechek, Justin Haley, Todd Gilliland and Zane Smith at +1600 for a top three finish. To finish in the top five, Gragson is in a six-way tie at +700 to finish in the top five, along with Suarez, Nemechek, Michael McDowell, Ryan Preece, and Zane Smith.
