The state of Kentucky finds itself tied or ranked ahead of its neighbors, with Tennessee having the same divorce rate (3.3), while Virginia (3.1), West Virginia (2.9), Ohio (2.6), Illinois (1.3) all had lower rates than the Bluegrass State.
Nationally, Nevada (4.2), Oklahoma (3.8), Wyoming (3.7), Alabama and Arkansas (3.6 apiece) ranked atop the list when it comes to highest divorce rates.
Conversely, Kansas (1.9), Maryland (1.6), Texas (1.4), Illinois (1.3) and Massachusetts (1.0) had the lowest rates in America, proving that the thrill may not be gone after all.
